“Angela Asatrian is an Armenian-American social worker and filmmaker. During her master’s in social work program, she studied human trafficking in the Philippines where she produced a student film highlighting the horrors of the sex trafficking industry. It was during this time that she realized her true passion: combining her social work experience and undaunting need to help those who are disenfranchised by bringing forth the awareness of their situation to the masses in film. It is through her films that Angela hopes to give a voice to those individuals who may not have an avenue or opportunity to do so.”
